Me, Buff Girls and Their World - Chapter 01: Part 06 of 07
Minutes later, the ponytail girl went back home that night after a fight with Mrs. Laurie. It's kinda dark as everyone else went to bed but she quickly notices the living room light on and wonders if someone is there.
“Probably must by my mom,” she said before approaching the living room to check who is inside there. Guess what, It was her mom.
Her mom is sitting down on one of the seats while staring at her smartphone. She then looks up at her daughter. “Girl what have you been?” her mom asked. “I've been calling you for hours. Was your phone off or you didn't notice that I call you?”
The ponytail girl raised her eyebrows struggling to answer. Because her mom wasn't aware that she lost her smartphone, the ponytail girl will try everything she can to not let her mom know about it.
“Um...because the demon was so loud that I couldn't hear the phone ringing,” the ponytail girl said.
“Oh really?” her mom said in a skeptical tone. She then notices that nothing is holding on either of the front side of her daughter's jeans. “Can you turn around?”
“What?” she got shocked as she's worried that her mom won't see her smartphone in her back pockets. “Why?”
“I need to see your smartphone,” her mom said.
“I already have my smartphone.”
Her mom wasn't convinced. She got up of her seat and quickly walked to see the back of her daughter's jeans but her daughter starts walking backwards to prevent her from seeing. “What are you doing girl?” her mom asked. “I need to see if you have a smartphone.”
“Look I already carried my smartphone,” the ponytail girl said as they stopped. “It was with me.”
Her mom nods like she at first convinced but then she grabbed her own smartphone out of her desk and start calling her daughter's phone.

Jim Lehrer Passed Away at 85

Credit: Terry Ashe/The LIFE Images Collection via Getty Images So one of my memorable anchors in my childhood, Jim Lehrer - who was anchor "The Newshour with Jim Lehrer" (now renamed "PBS Newshour") when I was growing up - has died at the age of 85. He was the anchor of the aforementioned "The Newshour" when it was called "The Robert McNeil Report" and since he got promoted to co-anchor, the show has been renamed a few times from "The McNeil/Lehrer Report" to "The McNeil/Lehrer Newshour" to the legendary-named "The Newshour with Jim Lehrer", when Robert McNeil resigned from his co-anchor chair in 1995, to currently "PBS Newshour" in 2009. Lehrer would then leave the anchor chair in 2011. Back when I was little, I sometimes go watch "The Newshour with Jim Lehrer" for curiosity reasons. Though "ABC World News with Peter Jennings" is my preferred choice to watch, I would have to give ...

Her mom walk towards her and SLAPPED HER DAUGHTER'S BEHIND HARD! “OW!” the ponytail girl shouted. “Why did yo...
