Yesterday (Thursday, April 18, 2019) is the redacted release of The Robert Mueller Report, or as the media would prefer it as "The Mueller Report" (and man I would eventually prefer that term too) and so many Americans and probably many people around the world get to see it.
The Department of Justice - or the Justice Department, whatever you wanna call it (I think "The Department of Justice" is the official name of itself while "The Justice Department" is just a reference) - have released The Mueller Report online at around 11:00am, though rather than updated its homepage to include the link or announce through its social media platforms (which I didn't find any), The Department of Justice instead type in the URL - www.justice.gov/storage/report.pdf - to that report in an email message and...I don't know, send that URL to some news journalists'a email address. I don't know why they would do that. I don't know why they wouldn't posted a link on their homepage or their social media platforms. I still see not one sight of that link in either of those sites as of this writing.
I mean Rob Tornoe, a journalist working for The Philly Inquirer, got it first less than thirty seconds before Caitlin Oprysko, a breaking news report for POLITICO (an news magazine in Northern Virginia) and probably the same time as ABC News updated its lower third bar on their coverage that reads "JUSTICE DEPARTMENT RELEASES REDACTED REPORT FROM SPECIAL COUNCIL ROBERT MULLER" (during where Jonathan Karl is talking about the report seconds before ABC's George Stephanopoulos announces the release himself after Karl finishes his sentence. I use a stopwatch to see what time exactly ABC announce it so I know who comes first: Rob Tornoe or ABC? I think they announced at the same time).
(PLEASE NOTE that the timestamps posted on the tweets themselves are actually in Pacific coast time meaning three hours behind the Eastern Standard Time so whenever a tweet was posted at "8:01am" it means that it's "8:01am" in the Pacific time while it's "11:01am" in the Eastern time simultaneously. I just want to make a note there to avoid much confusion.)
CNN journalist just read the URL out loud on air...that's according to his CNN colleague Brian Stelter. I scrawl down through the CNN twitter page to find video evidence and I found a video tweet that actually has a live time (11:03am at the time) being captured at the upper-right corner of the video where Jake Tapper read the URL from a smartphone (not sure if it's actually his or his employer's).
Anyway enough of who reports the URL first, let's get into what many people are talking about when they dig through The Mueller Report.
One one side, I hear people said that there's no collusion or obstruction according to The Mueller Report and President Donald Trump agrees as he post an image tweet that look similar to the HBO show "Game of Thrones" (whose currently eighth season will be its last....I may not be a fan of that show but I would try to get into this fantasy world a bit later. Maybe.) Back to The Mueller Report, like I said there are people on one side are happy to say that there's no collusion, no obstruction from Trump and that the Democrats are trying to sabotage Trump as much as they can and they failed. And I leave it right there.
On the other side, I hear people that The Mueller Report shows that there are lies that the president have made. I don't want to dig into their words, but they said that according to The Mueller Report, that the president lies and so is his Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. And I leave it right there as well.
I don't want to join either side. I just don't. I'm writing an anti-Trump post nor a pro-Trump post, I'm just writing their opinions about The Mueller Report when they read and/or skim and scan it.
Though in conclusion, The Mueller Report didn't find anything that President Donald Trump did something criminal. Nevertheless, the Democrats still want to see the full release of that same report as a redacted version wasn't enough. They wanted to know more of the other side's of the story. They wanted to know more of the truth, the real truth. And so is many Americans. In fact Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer wants Robert Muller to testify before Congress no later than Monday, May 20, 2019.
By the way I have a question I want to ask: Besides the news journalists, who actually reads The Mueller Report? Do you, as a normal human being, actually have the time to read through the entire four hundred forty-eight page report? Or look at what the journalists have been digging through the report so you don't have to? Or maybe both? I just want to know because digging through The Mueller Report is just not much of my interest.
Anyway the so-called "The Mueller Report" itself isn't actually called The Mueller Report or The Robert Mueller Report. The title is actually "Report On The Investigation Into Russian Interference In The 2016 Presidential Election...Volume I of II."
Oh yeah that Volume I of II part reminds me of something. I almost forgot to mention that Attorney General William Barr said there's going to be a second Mueller report. Not sure if he's gonna release it and if he eventually release it, would it make the redacted release of The Mueller Report the actual part one and the aforementioned second Mueller report Part 2 to complement the actually full release of the Mueller Report?
Gosh, I need to ask myself a question: How many times did I say the word "Mueller" with or without the words "The" and "Report" around it? Twenty. Exactly twenty! Do I miss a count? Let me know.
Anyway that's all for now! Thanks for reading!
